About the Artist: After years of watching bead making, Stephanie White first started working on the torch in 2001. She says, "I'm constantly working on learning new techniques and developing new skills." Recently she has been drawing inspiration from nature, especially flowers and garden bugs. She works at Beads By Design in Marietta, Georgia and is lucky enough to be able to melt glass almost every day.
About the Bead: Did you know that no matter how many billions of snowflakes fall from the sky, no two are exactly alike? The Snowflake Bead has a lapis blue cobalt base with a light sprinkle of "snow" and medium and large snowflake murrini throughout the bead. The bead is approximately 1" in diameter, and has two layers of murrini snowflakes.
