About the artist: Bead making started for Kari in 2000 as a hobby to share with her (then) 12-year-old daughter. 22 years later, they still love making beads and doing craft shows together. When her daughter was a kid, she just wanted to make little glass animals and that's still their favorite thing to make. The Beads of Courage program is close to Kari's heart because it's all about children!
