The Beads of Courage Pet Carry a Bead was released to celebrate National Pet Week® during 2021. We had our inaugural "Virtual Pet Parade" (see the video here: https://youtu.be/RBx83GpjOQk) on May 8th, 2021. The 2024 Virtual Pet Parade will be live-streamed on May 11th.
National Pet Week® celebrates the pets that enrich our lives and encourages responsible pet care every day of the year. Created by the American Veterinary Medical Association (AVMA) and the Auxiliary to the AVMA in 1981, it is observed during the first full week of May each year.
