July 2022 Bead of the Month: The Ocean Blue Bead reminds you to stay calm through life's ups and downs!

Artist Statement: The sea can sometimes appear turquoise, teal, or even green, but my favorite is when it is a deep ocean blue. I hope the soothing waves and colors in this bead remind you to stay calm through life's ups and downs.

Artist Bio: Ann DeHoff began lampworking in 2009. She worked in several mediums before she found her love for turning glass into lava, then reshaping it into beads, figurines, and ornaments. To expand her skills, she used workshops and tutorials from talented lampworkers. She works out of her home in Houston, Texas. Ann was deeply honored when Beads of Courage inducted her into their Bead Artist Hall of Fame in 2016. She is a member of the International Society of Glass Beadmakers (ISGB). Ann, along with the Houston Society for Glass Beadmakers group (HSGB) - The Houston Hotties - have donated numerous beads to Beads of Courage.
